We worked with Microids on releasing a new highly anticipated adventure game developed by the Spanish company Pendulo Studios, “Blacksad: Under the Skin“. It is an adaptation of the Spanish comic series Blacksad by Juan Díaz Canales and Juanjo Guarnido. The game follows John Blacksad as he investigates the suspicious death of a boxing club owner. We were tasked with the challenge of finding the right audiences for this game and increasing buzz and game purchases upon its release.
We used a combination of link referral technology on Facebook and Twitter to approach hard to reach audiences segments like film noir fans, as well as competitor fans such as Telltale Games, as well as Team Bondi’s L.A. Noire and Frogwares’ Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter.
